I chose this visual because I feel like it represents Borges descriptions on what the library looks like, but also gives the impression of its possible infiniteness. The design of this building has the feel of ordered chaos that is described in the library. To me the library is representative of the universe and the search for knowledge from the books within the library is similar to the different stages of history where human beings have thirsted for knowledge. Even the part where men were killing each other as they were seeking out holy books, was representative of the bloodshed around the world over religious truth, knowledge which cannot be found in this life with conclusive proof. Also the way he describes at the end how the library repeats itself, is representative of how history tends to repeat itself and humans have repeated the same mistakes over and over again throughout history.
